Athletic Program

The Athletic Program consists of intramural sports and cheerleading. Cheerleading is reserved for 7^th and 8^th grade girls, baseball for 7^th and 8^th grade boys, volleyball for girls in grades 5-8, boys’ basketball for grades 5-8 and girls’ basketball for grades 5-8.

The Solano/Pittsburg Athletic League

During the school year 1999-2000, the seven schools participating in intramural sports formed the Solano/Pittsburg Athletic League and, with the help of the Catholic School Department:

Created the SPAL Commission to develop policies and mediate problem resolution. Members of the Commission include principals, athletic directors and a chair.

Developed a Mission Statement and a set of Objectives, and

Instituted general rules/guidelines for participating students, parents and coaches.
