Approach

Our preschool combines learning experiences and structured play in a fun, safe and nurturing environment - offering far more than just child care. Preschool is the first introduction to a lifetime of learning, a journey that should start off on the right foot.

Our enthusiastic teachers genuinely care about children, and understand each child's individual developmental needs and learning styles. They take the time to help each child discover, in his or her own way, a fascinating world of play and learning.

Additionally, children in our program are prepared for their kindergarten experiences.

Philosophy

We believe children can grow and learn best through their natural maturation within an enriched environment. When children are given an opportunity to explore and discover their world, their inner curiosities will bloom and enhance their development.

We believe that in order to contribute to the children’s social, emotional, intellectual, and physical development, a program should strengthen their self-esteem, develop a sense of independence and responsibility, be child-oriented, safe, and provide a variety of learning choice at a range of developmental levels.

We believe that in order to contribute to children’s spiritual growth and development, a program should encourage a child’s sense of wonder, enrich Christian values through the example of caring adults and enhance faith in God through prayer, song, Bible stories, and dramatic play. Within our Catholic environment a child can build upon a high moral foundation.

We believe the environment should promote positive guidance and problem-solving techniques, creating consistent and age appropriate limits. The teacher and the environment should interest children, therefore, enhancing their interest to learn.

We believe parents and teachers should work in partnership in learning for the benefit of their child. With this partnership, the teachers goal should be to create a unique learning experience for each child in order to foster creativity and a positive self image. Teachers should communicate readily with parents and children, demonstrate high moral values and exhibit enthusiasm and motivation for children and learning.

We believe that our values and the trust of our parents create a strong and vibrant early childhood education program. We shall honor that trust and strive to provide quality education and childcare.
